Itinerary
Day 1
- Include: Lunch, Dinner
- Sandakan/Turtle Island You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to CQ Jetty for a one-hour boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. After lunch, you can snorkel to explore marine life or relax on the beach. Enjoy a slideshow about turtles before dinner. Later, wait for the Park Ranger’s signal to see a mother turtle laying eggs and the hatchlings being released into the sea. You'll stay overnight at Selingan Island Chalet.
Day 2
- Include: Breakfast, Lunch
- Turtle Island/Sepilok/Sun Bear/Sandakan Wake up at 6:00 AM and have breakfast at 6:30 AM. Depart Selingan Island by 7:00 AM and arrive at the jetty around 8:00 AM. Next, visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to see the nursery and watch the morning feeding. You’ll also see a 25-minute video and explore the Exhibition Hall. After that, visit the Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Enjoy lunch before being dropped off at SDK Airport or your hotel.
