- Sandakan/Turtle Island Enjoy a smooth pick-up from your hotel and a one-hour boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. After lunch, snorkel among juvenile marine life or relax on the beach. Before dinner, watch an informative slideshow about the turtle park. Later, follow the Park Ranger’s signal to see a mother turtle laying her eggs, the transfer to the hatchery, and the release of hatchlings into the sea. Spend the night in the cozy Selingan Island Chalet.

Next, visit the Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world’s smallest bear. After lunch at SJR, arrive in Bilit by 2:30 PM, check in, and enjoy afternoon tea. At 4:00 PM, take a wildlife cruise on the Kinabatangan River, then have dinner and relax at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

In the late afternoon, take another river cruise to spot more wildlife. End your day with dinner and a cozy stay at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

In the afternoon, explore Sandakan City, visiting the Memorial Park, Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, and St. Michael’s Church. Browse the Central Market and visit the Agnes Keith Museum. End at the English Tea House for stunning views before transferring back to your hotel or the airport.
