Experience Borneo’s wildlife by visiting orangutans, proboscis monkeys, and sun bears.
The Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre is a key highlight where you can visit twice. Initially, you’ll explore the Outdoor Nursery, witness the morning feeding of orangutans, and watch an informative video about these great apes. Later, you’ll return to catch the afternoon feeding session. At the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, you’ll have the chance to observe proboscis monkeys up close in their natural mangrove forest habitat, along with other wildlife like Silver Leaf Monkey, Pig tailed Macaque, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Otter, White-bellied Woodpecker and Kingfishers too. The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre offers a unique opportunity to see the world’s smallest bear in its natural environment, providing insight into their conservation and behavior.
