Next, at the Sun Bear Conservation Centre, you’ll see the world’s smallest bears in a natural setting. The Sandakan Nature City Tour explores various landmarks, including Sandakan Memorial Park, which commemorates WWII soldiers; Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, offering panoramic views of Sandakan Bay; and St. Michael’s Church, one of the oldest in Sabah. You’ll also visit Central Market to experience local produce and seafood, and the Agnes Keith Museum to learn about colonial life through the works of Agnes Keith.
