- Picked up from your hotel in Sandakan and driven to Sepilok Jungle Resort for lunch before heading to Bilit, Kinabatangan River. After a 2 hours drive, arrived at Bilit Jetty and check in to Bilit Adventure Lodge. The afternoon begins with a briefing by the nature guide followed by tea and a 2 hours wildlife cruise along the river. After returning to the lodge, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

- The day starts early with a wildlife cruise at 6:00 AM, followed by breakfast and a guided jungle walk to explore the riverine forest. After returning to the lodge and having lunch, embark on a second afternoon boat cruise to spot more wildlife. The day concludes with dinner and second night at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

While it’s essential to bring a camera for capturing the unique wildlife, such as pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, and various bird species, flash photography is prohibited to avoid disturbing the animals. The weather in the region can be humid and unpredictable, especially during the rainy season, so pack lightweight, breathable clothing, a rain jacket, and insect repellent. Comfortable shoes are necessary for nature walks and river cruises. Eco-friendly practices are encouraged, so bring a reusable water bottle and minimize plastic waste. Be prepared for early morning and evening wildlife cruises, as these are the best times to spot animals. Lastly, always respect local customs and wildlife by maintaining a safe distance and following your guide’s instructions for a responsible and enriching experience.

- LUGGAGE HANDLING AND STORAGE LIMITS : Please ensure your luggage is manageable for transportation, as storage space is limited.
- PHOTOGRAPHY : Bring a camera, but follow photography rules in conservation areas. Notes: Flash photography is prohibited to avoid disturbing the animals.

- HEALTH : Bring personal medications and stay hydrated throughout the day.
- WATER BOTTLE : Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated and reduce plastic waste.
